RE: Advertisement suite
Plugin updated to version 1.1 - Feature release!

I added a new feature - banner rotation. You can now enter multiple advertisements to each place, seperate the ads with the sign | and the different ads will be displayed randomly!

Example for advertisement on index -> HTML Code:
Code:
You cannot view this code until you login or register
<a href="#">First ad goes here</a> | Second ad goes here

This is especially very usefull for advertisements that may appear only twice a page - for example Google Adsense. You can add two ad codes to the "between posts" advertisement, one time Adsense and another time Adbrite or anything.
Great for affiliates too!

Update guide:
Simply overwrite the plugin file with the new one attached.
You can now use the new function.

If you want to upgrade the settings text to look like the preview you will have to uninstall and install the plugin again.
But this is only necessary for the text so you can skip that step.

Kind regards

No idea at the moment, I saw the script working fine on 4 different forums now and installed, activated and deactivated it for multiple times on my testforum - everything works fine.

Did you make any changes to the plugin core?

Hi Lennart,

I am having this exact same problem...any ideas on what I need to do to fix this?
I have tried deactivating, uninstalling and deleting the plugin, but am still getting the same fatal error message when trying to view posts.

Thanks

RE: Advertisement suite
I don't get it- line 64 is $parser_options['allow_mycode'] = $mybb->settings['pmsallowmycode']; and my plugin does not add anything to that file...

Please reupload your inc/functions_post.php and see if that works...

I'll contact a MyBB developer now, can't explain it for myself anymore...

Kind regards

Hey Lennart,

Thanks for your response.

Re-uploading the functions_post.php and the showthread.php were two of the first things that we tried.
Neither worked for us.

Did you work out anything that worked for the other guy who was having the same problem?

Thanks

RE: Advertisement suite
Found the error (thanks to Skywalker2208),

In the postbit template the bottom line reads:

Code:
You cannot view this code until you login or register

If you remove
Code:
You cannot view this code until you login or register

it all seems to work itself out fine.

RE: Advertisement suite
Hmm, okay.... seems to be a template problem in this case.

Thank you for the fix, this could seriously have caused the trouble... custom templates might not replace properly.

Thanks to you and Skywalker!

Kind regards

RE: Advertisement suite
I'm sure it has at least more functions.

You'd be welcome here as subscriber.
