I honestly subscribe to this site especially to get this link checker plugin.
But, it seems like it does not do what I need it to do.


It would be great if it can check links in [code] mycode and display it like
"the.link - file is found!"

This would be very useful.

you mean the download link checker? this plugin isa backlink checker.. it checks whether other sites are doing link back to your site..

Great! Hopefully you both can come up with a great link checker plugin. Something like phpbb link checker plugin by warez-bb.org (which btw the owner given permission to whoever want to port it to other forum script)
