Here's the forum I created, for pheromone enthusiasts and those interested in learning more about pherromones.

PheroTruth

There are 3 competitive forums and each has been around for a lot longer than mine, plus there are thousands of websites selling pheromones and competing for the same keywords. But, my forum ranks very well on Google, and is getting over 3000 unique visits per month, with no advertising.

And, a second forum that I'm still in the process of developing, but the main forum structure is there. I am just adding a page in which apartment properties can create listings, like on apartments.com or rent.com.

The first forum could use a smaller, less obtrusive design.
You have a lot of information there, especially the intro on the index but users have to scroll a lot there.

The second one looks nicely done, I really like that design and the switching images at the top. Great idea!
Empty now of course, but I am sure that will change soon. Good luck with it

The first design has a lot of info in the header for guests only, plus the ads to encourage people to register. The into headerr disspaears for logged in members.

It's also for the search engines, and the strategy seems to be working, asthe site ranks very well on Google and other search engines.

The second forum is brand new, and I'm still playing with and tweaking it. I like the animated gif as well, but m trying to find better images to use, as those are not the greatest quality.
