Wordpress Connect

Thanks that will do just fine. Meaning i will setup the subscription engine on the MyBB side, and replicate everything into wordpress.

As long as the subscription-engine removes non-active subscriptions from that group it will reflect on the wordpress by removing that user, untill they get added again by renewing the subscription, correct ?

Hello,
the plugin will not sync active changes at the group settings. You can set the group for your wordpress users in the plugin settings. There is no push for group changes resulting in WP group changes.

That's a shame, so it syncs only once upon user creation ?

I might find the time to have a look into your code and see if i can come-up with a workaround myself.

Thanks for the quick replies!

That's right. The issue with a sync here would be the difference between MyBB user groups and Wordpress user groups. In MyBB, registered group can post - in WP you might not want everybody to be able to post - so that'd be subscriber group then.

For premium features, there are a lot of single MyBB plugins and all of them are working in a different way - most of them are not using hook system - so it might be difficult to get into the upgrade process.

Good luck, if you have specific questions please let me know if I can assist you individually.

My paths have been an example. You need to use the correct relative paths for your forum and wordpress install.

Check your folders and see where the script needs to point at.

If you can't figure it out PM me your server access data (FTP for example) and I'll tell you the correct path.

Is it possible to make this work with the MyFacebook Connect plugin (v 2.1)?

with one-click registration enabled the wp plugin does not trigger, if one-click is disabled the Mybb account is partially created then directs page to WP registration page and does not create wp account automatically.
