I have a small issue. I have everything set up correctly and it should be working but after creating a new user in the forum the same user cannot access the wordpress installation. After checking the users in my blog I'm not seeing the forum user that was created. I've had it set up for a while and am just now wanting to use it.

Any ideas?

Hi, I'm struggling to install the plugin, and hope someone might be able to help please. As soon as the file gets uploaded to the plugin directory, this message pops up on the installation page:

Warning [2] require_once(/home/***/public_html/inc/plugins/wordpressconnect.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied - Line: 518 - File: admin/modules/config/plugins.php PHP 5.5.9-1ubuntu4.11 (Linux)

Never mind, adjusting permissions on the Plugin file sorted it out! Thanks!

Hello erich, yes the registration and login should be done via MyBB. I think your steps should work just fine. Just make sure all WP registrations and logins do point to MyBB.

So we are talking about this post:

Hello , installed the plugin "wordpress connect 1.2" but i've a problem with the relative path.

i got that error while creating new user Critical error: Wordpress Connect path is invalid!

My wordpress is installed at root .
Mybb is installed in a folder /subdomain.

What should i put as relative path for wordpress then ?  i put / for root but apparently it isnt working.

 forgot to say  : runkit extension installation has been requested to host.

If wordpress is at root directory and mybb is in a subfolder, the relative path should be "../" I think. It might depend on your server OS.
