All of these permissions are necessary for the plugin functions.

Which logo?

1) Maybe someone just want to use the plugin to login ou to post to his/her profile. Then you don't really need so many

2) I meant the "box" on the top, it is huge, and really not necessary I believe.

Well, MyBB for example needs to have a valid email adress for a user account. We also need the facebook username and id to identify the user. Would be the first two permissions.
Posting to the profile is necessary for new threads - the user can check the checkbox to post to the profile himself, we are not doing any harm there (we don't do harm anyway!).
Offline access is needed for the login, we have to keep the session active in MyBB without pinging facebook all the time.
Birthday is indeed optional but you can hide your birthday in MyBB User-CP so I don't see issues there eighter.

Alright got it working by following the instructions posted by a member here (the Post-Authorization Callback URL field was not showing up) and everything seems to work fine.

May I request one thing though? Please use output_page(...) when outputting the "Confirm Registration" page, I'm not sure if other actions use this page as well but, you do not use the output_page(...) function and it interferes with some plugins on my website that make use of the hook pre_output_page.

I posted that fix, sadly I can not fix facebook's source itself (that'd be cool huh? ).

Good idea, will be included in the next update. I don't have the MyBB functions in view all the time because I do a lot of other coding...

but I deactivated because I couldn't find this

and I looked for a way to edit the facebook application but I never found it. This is all just too much of a pain in the arse to set up for my simple mind.
