Thanks for the info. I've never really dealt with any SSL stuff. I run the website on a windows server using WAMP as the backbone for the setup. I'm in the process of moving, so I will have to wait to look into this more, but read more about setting up SSL and will post a followup once I get things done.

Is there any way to integrate the users logged-in by this plugin to Nayar's plugin? Some of my users have been registered via Nayar's plugin and were asked to register again by this plugin.

Nayar does use the JS library to register users as far as I know (I didn't look into his plugin much) and this plugin does use the stable PHP API.
Moving users from his plugin is probably not possible because of that, they'll have to re-register via facebook.

using mybb 1.6 and getting no username detected. I have checked the settings and everything seems fine.

Well, you can set the php code at the beginning of the file to configure CURL properly. But I'd advise you to ask your webhost about that because I am not sure about these SSL configurations and I'd not trust a third party site for something that important.

You might also double check the facebook settings for https.

A week ago I installed your FB Connect Plugin and I have to say after some tests made with other people, it looks like it´s working good even if my domain is SSL certificated and also even NOT knowing for sure if I have Curl method enabled. My board is on Facebook

My question, to be sure everything is running good is: How can I check or where can I check if I have Curl enabled?

As for suggestion for your plugin, can you incorporate switching methods inside the FBConnect Settings inside ACP?

glad to hear everything is working fine

If the plugin works, CURL is enabled. The plugin does not work without CURL. You can see CURL status in your PHP config.

Could you please explain to me what you mean with switching methods in ACP settings? Which methods shall be switched?

Hi Lennart,

I went to my hosting page, found a "PHP Config" but there is a list where I can select what type of PHP I prefer to use, currently is selected PHP 5.2 but there are others such as PHP 5.2 (Single php.ini), PHP 5.2 (FastCGI), PHP 5.3, PHP 5.3 (Single php.ini), PHP 5.4 and PHP 5.4 (Single php.ini). Nothing about cURL status there. I´m lost LOL

As for the suggestion inside the ACP, I meant to say to have an ON/OFF Curl Method option there.

But I guess, if it´s turned OFF from ACP, the Plugin would stop to work even the domain is not SSL certificated?
