Could it be that wordpressconnect is broken in 1.8.6? I get an error at login and logout at member.php

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare get_theme() (previously declared in /var/www/html/mypage/board/inc/functions.php:5089) in /var/www/html/mypage/wp-includes/deprecated.php on line 2956

It works for me. Did you enable the runkit extension?

I have runkit and cURL enabled. It worked before I updated myBB and Wordpress. I did it wrong and updated both, so I dont know where it broke.

fixed it:

I commented out the get_theme function in the deprecated.php and now it works!

Since the get_theme is in the deprecated file of wordpress it seems to be no longer needed and your solution should be fine. Glad it's working now!

Hello. Does this work with Wordpress 4.3.1 ?
I use an existing mybb account to login on wordpress and get ERROR: Invalid username.

It should work on 4.3.1, yes. Did you logout/login again with the existing MyBB account? WP accounts for existing MyBB accounts are created on login.

I have tried to logout and login on mybb and I get an "Error establishing a database connection", after that I refresh an I am logged in on mybb normaly. Should this mean it doesn't create the user on wordpress ?

anyway when i enable this plugin in myBB, then when i tried to log in, i have blank member.php page
I think i configured properly,

and i set up  in WP path: ../

ok fixed.. i've goted hidden PHP errors.. and the problem was in deprecated.php in wordpress... now is working properly ))

Next question, is it possible to import current WP Users to myBB ? i've got about 5K accounts on my wordpress page

Thanks for confirming that deprecated.php issue, I added it to the first post of this thread. It's really annoying that a function that is deprecated and therefor no longer needed creates such problems.

This plugin registers users from MyBB to Wordpress, not the other way arround, sorry.

Avatars are not synchronized.
